Hello and welcome to NESA's first dedicated Lure Fishing Forum. :)

The aim of this forum is to provide a single place where all Lure Fisherman in the North East and beyond, whether you be a newbie or an expert can come and contribute to share your knowledge and experiences with everyone.

We hope to raise the awareness and the potential of Lure Fishing in our region and provide a network of local Lure Anglers who all share a passion for this growing area of our sport.

Lure Fishing can provide a lot of fun for all ages as well as produce some surprising results and also introduce you quickly to new species and a diverse range of tackle and techniques.

In time we hope to establish a dedicated Forum for all your Lure Fishing needs whether it be for Shore, Boat, Kayak or Freshwater. We aim to have additional topical threads covering; techniques, chat, catch reports, tackle reviews & more for all you Lure nuts out there.

We are also planning on stepping it up a gear next year with the Lure Fishing Challenge 2013 and there are also talks of holding a competition or two aswell as arranging some 'meets' where people will have the chance to fish together and share their tips!

We do not profess to be experts in this field but we have several years experience and are very keen Lure Anglers ourselves having spent the last number of years Lure Fishing up and down our coastline.

We welcome any input and feedback on Forum construction and content. We hope you will join us in making this Forum a success and look forward to your contributions!

More to come very soon!

Regards
Si & Phil

I hope you are going to speak to some of the local tackle suppliers to up their game and offer some lures we can go and judge for ourselves and get a better idea of their colours and sizes instead of looking at them in a magazine and best guessing

That will most definately be on the agenda!

There is nothing like the North Sea to put tackle to the real test of endurance!

Theres also no better review than a hands on demonstration supported with tried and tested feedback!

If you know of anyone who is willing to sacrifice (offer) some for a thorough field test then speak up!:D

In return, we will offer a genuine and honest reporting and reviewing service! :red:

had some great fun the last 2 seasons catching pike to over 15lb on light gear using small 18 gram twin tails and jelly worms on lead heads down to 5grams small jacks can be great fun and give a great buzz
