Not been a good one for myself, tend to fish short-notice brief sessions anyway, which hasn't helped compared to the late 80's as an all-nighter (and the fishing, fnar!).

Knocked up a spreadsheet for this year, gonna compare catches to dates/times/tides yada and see if there's any common denominator..

Well done Brashy, and all the lads on catching a few fish over the season, and thanks sless for posting your club catch reports. :) :)

Well done Brashy, and as allways graham well done for all of your reports. Excellent results for all at the Cleadon club.

Well done Brashy, we'll have to call you "KING OF THE RIVER".:p

Another made up title Tony, your good at that!

Kris to top Tony's publicity stunt you will have to leap from South Shields Ferry landing across to Smiths (without a run up of course) then contact the Sunday Sport and give them an interview telling them your the king of the river lol!

I'm not normally one to boast. But I would like to point out, that the one and only season that I fished South Shields' biggest fishing club "The Cleadon Club", I won it entirely from the rocks, I never weighed in a single Flattie or Whiting. This has never been done before, and I challenge anyone to do this remarkable achievement again. Until they do, only then will I come out of retirement.

Sorry Kris forgot to congratulate you on the win, was too busy posting s**t for Tony
Well done Kris on what was a really difficult winter.

tony, sorry to contradict you but,you always blow ya trumpet loud and clear when u catch anything.
thats why your recieving loads of crap on most of the fishing sites we look at.
as for you not wanting to boast why do it in the first place.
dont understand ya logic mate sorry

Come on people stop this "Bickering", we should be celebrating young Brashy's amazing achievement. There was a lot of good recognised local anglers fished this season, and he certainly put "their bait up." However, if I didn't get 73 points within the peak winter months October- November, I'd pack in fishing.;)

Tony just for the record (no Bickering) you have not caught that much this winter and what you have caught does not add up to 70lbs.

If you want to know exactly how much you did actually catch then you would only need to look at all your posts this winter cos you posted every time you caught fish as well as sent me a text.

Well done lads.
If its out like the Owton Manor lads in their club its a laugh a minute pi-- taking all night in a compo.
I had the chace to join Hartlepool Pirates but with the distance and shifts its just to much.

not getting away from brashy winning the league
its good to keep records of every ones catches
through out the season
