and loved it ,was on the famous 2, out of h,pool no sickness [a big worry for me] and plenty of fish, my best was a 8 pound ling not huge but it was the first ling i,ve ever caught so i was over the moon. can,t wait for the next time wish i,d have done this type of fishing years ago:red::red::red:

Nothing wrong with 8lb, only 2-3 double cod from Pool to Amble turns up on an Av week our days.

Did'nt realise their was a Famous 2, I could be wrong tho. Were you not on Flammer 2 ( yellow boat) or The Famous ( a cat ).

Either way sounds like you had a canny day.

Famous came and joined us on a wreck about 12 mile out on the afternoon, if you were on that you might remember us, we were on the little white boat Terri Louise, it came pretty close at times. Might recognise my ugly mug from my catch report lol.

Paul the old boat fishings great. I spew up but now take a couple of sea sick tablets and i,m right as rain.

I think we got a couple of fish off it, nothing massive tho.

Think their was a net over part of the wreck as I lost a load of gear aswell, could feel the net stretching a bit when I was giving my braid the heave hoo, just before it snapped and I lost me gear lol.

I'll pull one of them nets all the way up one day, might need some stronger braid tho. lol

Imagine all the jiggers, gear and weights on it.
