Anybody trailer their boat over to the west coast of bonny Scotland for a bit of fishing ?

Been thinking of giving it ago as we used to go shore fishing alot over that way round portpatrick , stranra, balcarry and the mull , it was good fishing

Would\'nt mind a bit tope fishing and a change of scenery

taking one with me, be moored about 50 yards from where we stay, can\'t wait, lobster pots tarted up, new prawn pots to use, hopefully a fishy fornight ahad

The Mull gets way over fished our days, not that many marks you can get down to that will have not been fished for a week or two. Time to add 50 miles more onto the trip and head further north.

Richy, theres still some really good fishing there if you do your homework - Ian Burret on \'on yer marks\' is proof of that.

Biat fishing wise i agree, its fantastic with so many new areas and species to aim for, shore fishing is not so good.

True, but still a lot better than here lol. Plus, theres a load of marks to fish if you don\'t mind a good walk/climb

Got to agree Davy. Seven of us fished over there a few weeks ago and no blanks. Couldn\'t see that happening here mate.
