Whale of a time

We had a nice day out off Seaham today made even better by a minke whale that paid us a visit for nearly 2 hrs
It swam under the boat and came alongside loads almost bumping the boat a few times. Was great to see and made the day.

Usually see one or two a year but never as close or for so long.

Managed to get a few bits of video on the phone, with some quality commentary hope it works ;

WOW Martin, just watched the video, I must have missed it at first read .......
Superb bit of video. Have seen one a bit away from the boat before but never so close and repeatedly playing around like that ... Awesome.
