A sensible post at last !!!! We did have a unique aquaculture in the loch with some good sized cod that had grown steadily over the years. Since this video, the loch has been hammered and most of the healthy resident fish caught and killed. It was an ideal mark which is now almost devoid of cod with loads of coalies remaining. It is not my loch, but visiting and local anglers have destroyed something unique possibly in the whole of the UK. We all like our secret marks, but just think of the consequences of your actions when you pop off home on the Northlink ferry. Try the boat fishing, it is far better and a lot more productive than any shore fishing up here.

All joking aside, I totally understand what you mean to be honest. But the truth of the matter is, lads will travel to find that elusive "purple patch" of fishing, whether they keep their gobs shut or not is another matter altogether.
