One of my best sessions ever at St Abbs today. Nearly 40lb of Codling and Wrasse for myself, all released along with a few Mackeral and Coalfish. Biggest Codling 5lb with a nice 4lb reddie to, which was great to see and my biggest Wrasse was a belter at just under 4lb, I am lost for words...............here's the pics.

All fish were caught on peeler crab, just down the side and up to 50 yds out. It sure was a cracking days fishing and one that willl live in my memory for a very long time.

Hello mate, where abouts in St. Abbs were you, because Ive fished the harbour before but I want to do it at a different mark, I dont know any up there.

Thanks Daza :D

When fishing St. Abbs do you fish the green arrow on this map?

I was up there the other day and I climbed down where the red arrow is, to say I nearly died is an understatement, ripped my trousers and everything, surely you guys don't climb down there and there must be an easier place to fish.

To add insult to injury all there was were a few coalies.

It's neither place Gaverick, obviously I can't give out detailed info on the open forum as marks soon get fished out and inconsiderate anglers leave rubbish. I have kept this place tidy and all my fish go back. The only way to let you know is to show you some day, if your going back up give me a shout and I will see if I can meet you. I am off there again tomorrow weather permitting.

well done
