What a great night to fish..!

3lb codling off Whitley!

I must admit, I didn't reel it it, my bud did - we've just filleted it. Cod and chips for tea tomorrow night for me and the missus!

A great nights fishing, even before we landed the fish. Black sea, starry night, howling wind, the lights of the town twinkling in the distance.

Got to be one of the best ways to escape the stress of life and sync back with nature.

Sorry for waxing lyrical - I'm just stoked to finally see a cod landed and respect to the fish - he will be enjoyed tomorrow evening.

I love fishing, me.

I fried the fillets in my own batter and it was bloody lovely, nicest freshest fish ever! All the family are well and truly stuffed, even the dog and cat got a bit!
