I went to our local station in Alnwick a few years back as I was going to apply for the police and a male and female police officer were too busy chasing each other around throwing water over each other to notice I was actually there.
Only seem to be busy up here at the local Greggs.

Insano.....Went to school with a lad who's a copper now and works down Blyth way. When I was at school with him, he was one of the most racist, biggoted people you could meet and bullied one lad so badly he had to take time out of school. Still can't undertsand how he managed to blag his way in
Still a lot of young coppers up in Alnwick so if that's retirement, god help us all. Suicidal woman went missing up here a couple of years back and the Coastguards were called out 12 hours after she was initially reported missing. Out of 4 Police officers there there was only one who I would say was getting a bit long in the tooth. They cleared off back to the station 'apparently for their wellies to help us'. Didn't come back and they were usless the next day when they did turn up to help. Spent most of the day drinking tea and coffee.
