What Chance

Took the boat out yesterday afternoon and was apalled to find the biggest trawler I,ve ever seen doing its stuff about three miles out from Hartlepool/Seaham. Fair enough the local lads in their small trawlers, but this one was thousands of tons from lowestoft. What chance have the inshore fisheries got? The destruction going on down there must be massive judgeing by the ammount of sea floor debris that was floating about. Surely this ca,nt be right. Just when things start to look up for us all<some ones greed destroys it.

It will have been the fisheries survey vessel,see it every couple of years.

Been plenty of big trawlers close in lately, canny few pair trawlers aswell.

I counted 4 large trawlers the other day and then seen the two local ones from the Tyne, also some wrecks south of Tyne netted
