What could this of been?

Fishing St peters today I pulled in a flatfish, but this didnt look like a plaice or a flounder or dab or out else normal.
Lookin at pictures on the net it looks only like a halibut!
Any suggestions of what it could of been.
another streange thing was it only had meat on 1 side of it. the rest was guts.
