Sure I saw a chav doing a 4 turn infinity of the end of Blyth pier once
Hahaha g.ordon - I'd be in the water every time with that one ... not a casting style to be attempted on a rock mark ...
Don't think he was really bothered about distance like, just wanted to see how many of his mates he could take out.

Lol ... I once had a snap off during a pendulum cast once - the weight went right through a Shakespeare tackle box, a thermos flask and a steak slice ... luckily it was mine and it missed my 7ht ... sadly I was starving all day.

The closest one to the cast was the helicopter ones, but the guy spun it vertically, rather than horizontally...

unless the description of the cast is incorrect, it sounds like a HELICOPTER cast, a type of attempted pendulum cast where other fisherman jump for cover and shout 'fire in the hole' (this is the cast which i do) nor, am getting there ha ha
in other words, a cast with no progressive power and body rotation, hence - pointless.
if the description IS incorrect (or incomplete for that matter)it could be a flat arc, high swing or even an areated ground cast.
if your in doubt matey gan on the casting section WSF.

Totally agree with you Mate. Same as the infinity one, it could be a 10 turn version but after the first swing you wouldn't be able to increase the energy stored within the lead (unless you increased the angular velocity like).
I wouldn't fancy doing that zulezney one of north shields fish quay either.

When I think about it, it musn't have been right at the end or he would have wrapped himself around that lightpost thing. I'm always getting confused about the end of Blyth pier though.
