What lure???

Also, I trust expensive proven lures more, because when I don't catch on them (I haven't had anything plugging yet) I can say that either I am doing something wrong or they are not there.
I can rule out the lure, because I know others regularly catch on them. Justy opinion.

im defo taking it serious this year, but every programme ive seen they are deep spinning for pollock, practically along seabed,so you are defo gonna lose gear, your in amongst rock and weed so cheap lures and sand eels are the way forward, might be worth spending a bit more on quality for the bass as there is hardly no chance of snagging up on surface or just below, gonna do alot of float fishing this year aswell, try get me a wrasse

I've decided to have a few weeks off to let the bug grow a bit. my next session is gonna be eyemouth. gonna take my beach rod but mainly gonna be spinning for pollock wrasse and the like. what depths should i be spinning at? I am brand new to lure fishing by the way. ive got some small jellies, minnows, daylights spoons. looking forward to doing something different for a bit. also wondered can you buy sand eels from tackle shops??(frozen obviously)

pollock - fire tails with a 4/0 through it - cant fail = not expensive

bass - shallow divers and plugs - max depth 600mm, best 300mm though, if you feel a snag, relaease the line and should float to the top.

Wrasse small hook with an artificial rag on, size 2 or 4 hook on light tackle = mega fun and mega cheap.

Beachcaster for spinning, like using an elephant gun to kill and crow, put some fun into it and get a light rod...

Sorry, should've explained, gonna bait fish with my beachcaster but gonna spin with my spinning rod and fixed spool.
