What reel is the best?

Hi guys

Was thinking of buying a new reel when the season starts again but cant decide which reel to buy. I have decided to either get the Daiwa 7HT Millionaire, or the Daiwa 7HT Turbo, or the Daiwa 7HT Mag, cos I already have the Daiwa SL30sh.

It hasnt been long since I bought an okuma magnetic 30 but I find it too big for my hand to control it and feel comfortable when I cast with it, so thats why I am gonna buy a new reel.

I hope you have some suggestions for a reel or have an opinion on one of the reels I have selected above.

penn 525 mag extra or slosh 20, saltist 20 or Penn torque.

For lighter fishing a 6500 hi speed mag

hi penn 525gs cant go wrong ,you can pay extra for magnets but just not necessary in my opion i use both.

owned, very briefly, a 7HT when they first came out, wasn't impressed to be honest and switched to an Abu 6500 which has served me well for a decade now. 7HT just seemed very flimsy for the money.

never had a problem with either of my millionaires - 6hm and 7ht

the 6hm has been used and abused for years and years and is still going strong

I think there one of the most versatile reels I won. I use em both for spinning, clean beach work and light boat work and they've excelled at all of them

you get good uns and bad uns with everything I guess. Wouldn't have an ABU reel given. owned 3, all died the death fairly quickly, gears shredded on all 3

interesting on your problem with gears on the abu's Mark, I did shred some on mine but it was the level wind in the first few months - which I was planning on removing anyway, took it off and not another snot of bother.
