what rigs

20-25mph wind Sat but it is from the west, fast drift but over rough ground wont be that much of a pain as the wrecks. The water is like coke at the mo so bait is the key, lots and often i would say. Lots of good inshore marks that should produce at this time of year but the season is late, still not showing any great numbers of coalie and no sandeels yet from the piers, 1st year in 4 that not caught one before now.

Its abit late now but if your out again gizz a buzz and i will email you a few long and lat of a few marks that fish...well used to fish well in April and May.

Thanks all you have all been a great help i found a free slip way at hebburn on that web site it says you can launch small boats very easly there so im going to give it a go and see what happens

baited daylights never fail to catch summit somewhere but I like Roydds prawns or a one up one down rig or flowing trace with bait early season

try bouncing a baited lead head of the hard ground add a few hockies above bait them too sometimes it works
just look for hard ground on your fishfinder as spikes or bumps
or try a bit away from dan ends of crab and lobster pots
keep well off them tho
to make sure you dont snag ure prop and upset the trap owners lol

cherrs lads for the info i went out 2day for the first time i launched at hebburn but i never got to fish due to me not taking enough fuel i thought i had more than enough but i was wrong.trial and error i suppose
