the cod season is all but over ,the macky are 2to3 months away and apart from flatties and the odd bass what other spiecies of fish can we target in the north east at this time of year.

theres millions between dunstanburgh castle and craster.

the cod ain't gone, fish the kelp beds on low tides......beadnell, craster, seahouses,newton, howick etc, etc.......you just got to know the right conditions. i have had cod, not big, but cod from these areas march april may......................and coalies
