Whats the difference

I was just wondering what the difference was between velvet and peeler? And whats best ?

velvet is a peeler crab aswell as the shore crab

if you can get them velvets are a better bait off the rock edges

not the ones you get in the tackle shops
they are softies

Velvets have fine hair covering their shells, bright red eyes and a serious attitude problem!

Good info there Ian ,and yeah Davy spot on about the attitude ,and have you noticed how they can get their claws back further than any other crabs,they\'ve nearly had me a few times.
