What's ya fave cocktail?

Nah... Long Island Iced Tea by far :cool:

I generally use:
Lug and peeler/razorfish for cod
Rag and lug/mackerel for flatties, whities
Rag and crab/mussel for wrasse
and usually just rag by itself for pollock, coalies etc

and if I can get hold of some I like to tip my baits of with white rag ;)

Lug all the way for chopper then! lol.

Find anything with maccy works for flats and whiting.... Anything wit crab or mussel for coalies and coddies!

I will be putting this cocktail menu to the test tomorow night lol
 
I find the best by far for whiting is plain macky strip, fish for cod with lug,mussel and peeler end up with whiting. I find rag and lug good for whiting, in fact I find every bloody bait I use attracts whiting. :p
 
i rekon its gonna be even harder to try get past them whiting this winter before anything else has a chance to take your bait blooming nuisance they are :mad:
 
they are pests sometimes when your after a decent cod, amazing how a whiting even a small one can manage to swallow a big lug and peeler bait on a 6/0 hook.
 
Tanqueray, Fever Tree, a wedge of lime and loads of ice...

As for the cod runnydown and mussel, summer fishing ragworm tipped off with a sliver of squid for the Plaice.
