whats your best sesh ever

all right lads, everyone of us have had a good days fishing but what's been your best ever sesh not the biggest fish but just a fantastic day's fishing, a sesh when you come off your mark with a big smile on your face, mine was about two years ago early morning in June sun the was shining and it was warm, sea dead flat and clear as a bell, so decided to fish the end of the heugh pier with a spinning rod, small fixed spool 10lbs line a string of 4 bog standard white feathers and a 2oz lead, cast out and as I knew it is clean ground thought to myself let it sink to the bottom and then just bounce the feathers along the bottom see what happens, 63 coalies,7 mackerel 5 codling and 2 plaice later [all fish in the 1lbs mark except one coalie at 2 and1/2lbs] all fish returned except the plaice, went home thinking I wish every sesh was like that but it never is.

Mine also 2 years ago had 15 pints of snake bite and a huge donner kebab what a sesh

Dont know about best sesh but funniest was defs seeing the old man somehow (which is beyond me how he did it) cast behind him and into a building site and have to shout through the fence to the JCB driver if he would untangle his trace from around his digger, idiot!

possibly 25yrs ago,fished a rock mark down marsden 2rods.fish every cast,was catching 2,3 atime on the same ragworm.eventually ran out of bait.had 6 carrier bags full of fish.2 on each side of my bicycle handlebars @2bags in my rucksack.sold the lot at local fish shop.was well happy.

tell you my worst and that was today as was going to go for a quick shesh.
dropped my bait all-over the floor, then the wind hit my van door and it slammed on my rod and smashed 200mm of the tip gutted.
so now having to re-do rod and hope it still works as good missing 200mm just got new top eye to fit and am re-wipping on eyes.
and to top it all of I lost a £20 spot while at shop.
comes in 3's they say and boy did it for me.
just hope rod still preforms as good as it did.

My best ever sesh was April 17th 2013 - Loppa, Norway - Absolutely knackered at the end of the day with literally several dozen cod @ + 30lb. Fish a drop and practically nowt was under the 20lb mark. What a day. Very much doubt I will have another day like it.

fishing down the tyne my mate went to cast out and all I seen was his rod flying threw the air and disappear into the river luckily I was reeling in and caught his line to this day he cant explain why it happened
