where are all the cod?

The only place that I can think of having cod regular is the fishmongers!

Probably cheaper than buying bait and then blanking everytime like I normally do.

its about been in the right place at the right time and working out the tides and sea state and baits etc ,you could get info from someone saying this place or that place is fishing its socks off and get there and blank while closer to home your local mark had fished its socks off you just carnt win its one or the other usually for me and sometimes get it right or none fished at all

I know it sounds tight but I'm starting to understand the reasons behind why people keep marks close to their chest...

...the mark I fished on sunday was one that I knew was a fish producing spot in the right conditions

But did you know this through fishing it till you found the right conditions or though being told when the best time to fish it is ?

Bit of both...which is why I'll still say where I fished in my reports....but I can understand why some people don't share

Whitley Bay and Blyth Pier will be lit up like Christmas Trees for weeks to come as a result of the recent good reports

As to fishing Whitley, it's fairly common sense stuff...all the marks are freely available on the marks page and each and every one of them will produce fish in the right conditions...but as as some of the lads have already found this week it doesn't mean you'll catch owt even if you're stood next to the fella that's hauling them in

yeah i think we've all done that, gets you mad when you using the same bait and rigs and fishing the same spot and the guy next to you is getting fish and your not. Just hope i'm the guy pulling them in tonight and not the guy stood next to him lol

iv had a few cod this year but only hear n there. i dont think they are staying long tho you hear about them from marks n fish them the next night n get nothing

so have you ordered you seaweed suit and night vision glasses yet:D:D:D
