not been much on here about any fish getting caught hopefully things might change going to get out next week for a drop surely there not far away

Where are they, the fish or the forum members? I've managed 1 trip this year in early April ( small boat off an open beach) caught zero. Should start getting out more from next week. Hopefully the sea will clear and the bloom will have died down.
As for members, I think most have migrated to different parts. The days of sharing are over.

Been a very poor year for me so far. March and early April saw a few nice Bass ( all returned ) from beaches around Northumberland and then it has gone dead. Wind and bad weather hasn't helped. Lots of Flounder around and a few tiny codling have been the reward for fishing during snow and hail. One consolation was a nice lobster got itself snagged on my hook north end of Druridge a couple of weeks ago
Reports say the sea is flat so I am hoping to target Turbot this weekend fingers crossed.
