ive found glasgow angling centres doing them for £79.99 brand new in there catalouge with a free gift as well, does that seam reasonable for a brand new one?.

Mate, just go to Lewis's or Frasiers and say you're a nesa member, get the normal version with a discount.

The new one seems a little smoother to cast and slightly better built than the older one- i have the one your talking about and its great so i would say definetaly get one.
