Is that little Beach behind the Hotel, (LITTLE HAVEN) I think its called, next to the Groyne, worth Fishing tomorrow, on the Flood, or am I better of just sticking to the Groyne?

Give Marsden a shot mate, in front of the grotto, a short cast with a 2 hook flapper baited with worm tipped with bluey or macky should produce a few flatties.

caught a 2lb cod on marsden beach other night. its well worth a shot on marsden beach. has any body fished on the rocks at the side ov the camels hump in south shields cos thats my next destanation sum time this week hopefully:)

Where's the camels hump mate?

thats wat i was told it was called its the island u can see wen ya fishing on marsden beach iv been told that once u get on you have to wait for the tide to go back out . do u no were im on about pal:question:

'Camels Island is the island that gets cut off on high tides so take waders or leave before cut off time unless you want to fish over high water until the tide drops again. Face the sea on Marsden beach and look left, Camels Island is the bit of land that has the 'hump' on top (covered in grass) as far as the cove goes. Access is best by walking from the ice cream kiosk (Minchellas) at the bottom of Redwell Bank North along the cliff tops for about 400yrds to a small path which leads down to the base of the island. When you get there if it is low water you can still see the old Roman rock harbour/jetty on the right hand side which is a reasonable fishing platform amongst the rocks.

thats the 1 pal. was thinking of fishing the side ov it on the rocks. the side that faces marsden beach just to me it looks decent and may be produce fish as ud be casting in deeper water than from the beach .
