just had three hours on steetly and not a sign of any mack,did notice the boats were out and fishing close in,anyone know what they were catching

just got back from the steetly stevie, saw three macky landed did't get one myself though, me and my lad did a bit better when we bottom fished with a few small dabs and founders ,best fish of the day was a cracking coalie, cought on daylights, of about 3 lbs by a young lad, there was about 20 lads fishing and over half of them where polish, very strange.

its not strange about our friends the poles on steetly paul,what is strange no matter what they catch or what size nothing seems to be returned

Saw some complete numpties standing on tops of the walls at the pier end of S/S...hope they fell in and saved the other S/S some money

you are right about the poles taking every thing they catch home steve, but there is one exception the pole next to me hooked a weaver and he was very very wary of that little fish, it did't go in his bag.

howay paul didnt you tell him you have to grip it firmly,turn it upside down in your palm carefully gut it and put it the pot, it tastes great with plenty u/size fish this time of year
