any ideas where the fish are at lol there has been very little in the last week from blyth with flat sea and crystal clear water there should be pleanty is there any in good number at first light.

The water is dirty upto about 3 miles off, it often taks a few days of setled weather to bring them back in.

Also could be the fact that when they where in everyone was walking off the piers with 30,40,50+ in the bag.

Hit or miss this year again but mackerel in good numbers like other fish not a given like they used to be.

never fished blyth before.....went there few years back when i was till a rugger bugger but never noticed a pier..where is it and it is railed or is it like seaham ? can anyone tell me pleasE?

I think its the same over the whole country,im down south, because weve had it a bit blowy, its put abit of colour in the water. And they,ve gone into deeper water. As an example 2 weeks ago, little kids were catching 3 at a time!,now not a sausage,i went out in the yak thurs and they were 1/2 mile out.
