Haven't seen any yet, I did dig a few sand eels up last week whilst digging for lugworm. They shouldn't be far behind?

Walked from marsden bay down to the pier today just to see if I could spot any decent spots to fish while the Tide was right out, took a spinning rod n reel with me n some lures had a bash at a couple of the coves & all along the big beach but nothing to be honest I didn't even see any birds diving, found some tackle at the edge of the pier rocks on big beach side so didn't come home completely empty handed a couple of breakaway leads, bait clips, links n beads if any one lost them I'll give back but you have to tell me the Colour order the beads were in

You see knackers all year round only more so in the summer i also love fishing for mackerel but i head out very early and make a day of it

They cant be far away just had a bit fish on the pier with davy (blanked again) and nothing on the big rods both davy and I spinning and davy tried the float,he had a few takes,result for me 1 lance on a dusty bin spinner sea was picking up as we left ,nice to be out for a bit crack and fresh air

you will not be able to get on roker once the chavs find out!!!! im just going to go late at night and try and get a few once 1st light shows,definatly gonna try with me new spinnin rod and reel!!!!

thats the best option marshy i used to go down midnight have a few hours bait fishing ..then try for a few mackerel first light then offskies ..this avoids the nutters that arrive later onyou will not be able to get on roker once the chavs find out!!!! im just going to go late at night and try and get a few once 1st light shows,definatly gonna try with me new spinnin rod and reel!!!!
