Which line for which reel?

Got 3 reels, Slosh20, Slosh30 and a Mag 525 but found when I got my Mag I used it for everything, loaded with 25lb Diawa Tournament.
But now I'm realising that I'm not getting the distance I could and on the beach I'm often spooling it right out by the time I get back to my rest.
Now that I've got a bit experience under my belt I'm starting to appreciate the differences in the reels and the benefits of one over the other for different marks, but I cant decide on what line to use..

For the Slosh30 I'm thinking 30lb Daiwa Tournament which I'm going to keep for Cliffs/Heavy Kelp etc
But as for the other 2 cant really decide, pretty much the same type of reel so was thinking Mag with 18lb Red Ice for Beach Fishing at night (I hear Red Ice has good visibility for Slack lines etc, but breaks at its breaking strain) and the Slosh20 either with 18lb Daiwa Tournament for anything else (the river etc as 18lb DT apparently will break at around 24lb BS)... or load it with 25lb DT?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

525 mag and sl20 loaded with 18-20lb tournament plus shoka
25-30lb for the sl30 (with a shoka if not just lobbin), maybe heavier depending on venue,

try ultima 20lb f1 on your 525 you will be suprised how much you can get on.
also i use f1 35lb on my sl30 infact i use nowt else but ultima f1 on all my reels.

funnily enough...what he said ...except the 35lb for me is on an ABU 7000

Yip Ultima is canny. I use 35-40lb for heavy ground and 18lb for the beaches and rivers. I also use the Diawa Tournament and it's nice line, 18lb on my 525 and slosh 20.
