which one?

Depends on how fast the boat is drifting due to the tide or wind.
For general drift fishing of rough ground and wrecks off Hartlepool I normally use 10 or 12 oz.
Sometimes you can get away with less weight and sometimes you need more.

Using thinner braid instead of thick mono line allows you to get away with using lighter weights aswell.

I use either; cannon ball type, bopedo, or aquazooms.

I Have A 12lb Class It Takes 7-8oz Also Have A 30lb Class Takes 10-16oz Nicely I Also Use Braid It Helps And You Can Almost Knock 2oz Off Compared To Mono

If you fish braid you should get away with 10 -12oz less most of the time but this will vary depending on tide & depth of water etc
