which reel

hi am after a reel for wreck fishin .got me eye on either a penn 320ld or a abu 7000i will these be ok .never been wreck fishing before so will these be big enough .like a level wind on..or can anyone recomend a one.cheers

Shimano charter special is supposed to be a good reel with lever drag and levelwind.

I've used a Abu 7000 on the wrecks quite a bit with no bother, only down side is no lever drag, but if you set the star drag well it should be fine.

Currently using a shimano tld 15 but miss the level wind a bit.

The Penn 320LD and the Shimano TLD15 are both good reels at a reasonable price. The level-wind isn't much of an advantage but can be prone to picking up a loop or two of line if you let it run too fast.

You’ll not go wrong with either reel, and whichever one you get, load it with 50lb braid.

penn 320 or 330 both cracking reels if u want to pull up the wreck try the 340.
