Prob good stuff but because it's thinner per pound doesn't make it better in what yr trying to achieve. Yes, it'll go further than a thicker dia braid but you'll lose all the advantages of braids strength when abrasion is considered. No doubt it'll be great for clean ground though.

You'll not get much braid on the braid spool mate, lad I no had braid on his and couldn't get hardly any on so he uses the deep spool. Shame you don't get 2 deep spools like
the shallow spool takes 300 mtres of .18 braid,thats what the 50lb whiplash is.i bought a spare deep spool from penn and ive got 66 and 53lb powerpro on them

The 50lb whiplash does go on your braid spool I've got it on my spinfisher/shimano braid spools.

Yea thsts the one i use in orange its 0.16 i think but i cant get it all on maybe 230/250 ish but def not it all
what does it cast like with being so thin,i see gary pye using the orange in 45lb

He uses 45lb on the mono spool, it casts really well no problems at all as long as its not over filled
