Hello all, I fished the doors area at whitburn last night from 9.30 till 2am. Not much action, but did have one big bite that I missed :/ .
Their was another angler from the whitburn club, didnt catch his name, but he had a nice 5lber in his box, caught before I arrived.
All I had was one rockling and a small codling about the same size, other than that neither of us had anything else for the rest of the night!

Hello barka84, I was on the beech at Whitburn last night digging bait with my mate and we were wondering if the two lads fishing were catching anything. I often think about fishing these marks at low tide but because I'm clueless about the geography of the area and which rocks to fish from etc., I haven't tried them yet but hope to soon.

Regards Rushy

The blue arrow is called the pipe, you can walk to the end, and cast sort of towards roker pier.

The red arrow is a rock called the turret, when its exposed stand on it and cast to the gully to your right if your facing the sea.

Beyond that where the green arrow is, Is another flat rock called the north skeer, you step off the front of the turret and wade out to it (its only exposed on the bigger tides for a short while)
you must get back off shortly after it starts to flood again, as it does so behind you first! (theirs two or three bigger rocks in the gully that you wade through to get on, once they start to
dissapear i make haste back onto the turret) when im on here i cast straight into the sea.

hope this gives u an idea of the geograpy :) as allways fish safe and mabey see you on their one day :)
