Whitburn 22/01/09

Myself and Sheldon fished whitburn 5.00 till 9.30 tonight started off
slow and then on low water i pull in a small codling 25cm and then
Sheldon pull in a small rockling baited up straight back out and then
bang i got a nice codling just under 3lb and then nowt after that but
still a good night.

nice fish marra, where exactly did you fish. was it into the lug beds infont of the boats moored behind the breakwater. i fancy giving it a go myself. fished roker pier tonight from 7.30 till 11.30. the place was mobbed but nowt doing. seen two whities in 4 hours on the roundend.

No mate we were fishing right on the edge of the rocks on the right hand
side of the garage.

cheers eddie, still a little unsure though. where you fishing towards roker pier into open sea.
when i said their had been nowt doinfg on roker pier, obviously that was before the 10 pounder was caught.
might give whitburn a blast tonight cos ive got some bait to get rid of. what state of the tide have you found to be better.
