could any body tell me where the best place to fish on whitburn beach all help will be appreciated

To the right of the steel is normally a good place to start, over low water.

As the lads have said to the right of the rocks but not ona really big tide as no water there over low water another good shot i in front of the old petrol station(latimers) flood tide on a big sea.

Allright mate,
not the best mark over top of the water,fishes best two hours either side of low water on a good swell,The mudhole will fish well over top of the tide but only on a good tide and very big sea .

The cat and dog steps is a high water mark. This is the promenade which runs round the middle of the beach. There is a load of rocks and you fish either into them to find the gulleys or just to the right of them. Other than the pier or whitburn cliffs this is the only high water mark either side of the beach.
