Whitby: Two dogs

All I can say is this trip was the dogs bollox! My best days boat fishing since the 1980's on the old Tynewynder boat.

I won't show you boxes full of fish as I really don't like to take those kind of pics but everyone had non stop action and it was simply north sea boat fishing at it's very best.

For a three hour spell as soon as your lure hit the bottom a fish was on and it was hectic to say the least!

Myself and pal Roy kept five or six fish each with countless going back, honestly my arms are aching writing this report.

Here's a couple of pics I managed to take in between the cod action.

An 18lb'er for Gary from Doncaster.

9lb'er for Codboy.

An 11lb'er for me.

We were a long way out today with all manner of lures taking fish, hard fighting pollack to 6lb and masses of codling around 4lb to.

A glorious day that dreams are made of. Tightlines, Dave.
