Hello lads just in. Fished a compo up ther today. Was a bit disappointed in the fishing. Guy next to me was using lug,rag,fresh mussell and peeler AND he nailed the cod. He also caught a wolf fish which sent his scores through the roof.The water is deep. 205-225 feet on average. Still it was nice to be out.I took home one decent fish i caught at about 4lb codling.

Nice one Mick...you'll beat that 7lb Cod from 50 years ago yet I'm sure
