White Ragworm

Anyone know where i could get some from? or does any shops in the north east sell them? or is the only way i will find them is by digging?

think you will very lucky to find anywhere that sells them, and if they do, you will looking at £1 plus per worm. they aint much good up here in scotland.

I get them when i dig for rag. They are not very big but are good for tipping off your hook.I do not know any shops which sell them. Would imagine they are hard to get hold of.
Seen a picture in latest sea angler of a guy fishing and he had various baits in containers. One was full of bit white rag. Never saw them that big before. Must only be available in some other coastal regions.

I met a bloke at Blyth Beach the other week who'd been digging at various low water marks on the beach and he had some HUGE rag and also some big white 'uns too ....so it seems they are about, but I have no real idea as to an exact location

YOU WILL TEND TO GET MOST RAGWORM IN THE ESTUARIES,WHITE RAG YOU WILL FIND MORE IN THE SAND WHERE YOU DIG FOR LUG OR BLACKS.

hi ,one time we used to use white rag or white magic it was called to tip off lug it used to come into its own back end of dec and feb when fish went a bit scarce. take half a dozen whites down about 6ins lg snap in half to tip off if nothing happening with lug or rag etc. now i think there is a competition on to see who can dig the most and biggest whites, i have seen loads of big whites left on beach dead after comps what a waste ,i wunder why there is,nt many whites to be had now,my mate gets the realy large whites but has,nt bothered this year says it is worth it now it is hard to find out the white beds now but is it worth it dont think so
