Today's match saw 25 anglers fishing around the Beadnell area in rather windy conditions, which judging by the way the area has fished recently, seems to have knocked the catches back a bit. However, 14 still managed to weigh in; here's the result in full, the first angler in each category (heaviest bag & heaviest fish) each won £60, the second place anglers each winning £40, with £50 being carried over to the bonus pot for the final match (which currently totals £80).

1st - Gav Owen, 3 fish for 8lb 3oz
2nd - Steven Alexander, 2 fish for 4lb 14oz
3rd= Steve Potts, 1 fish 3lb 11oz (Heaviest fish)
Steve Williams, 2 fish 3lb 11oz
5th - Chris Stringer, 1 fish 3lb 10oz (2nd HF)
6th - Craig Ogilvie, 2 fish 3lb 6oz

Yeah, nearly got blown away a few times myself & the wind claimed my new cap on the last cast, took it about 40 yards straight out to sea:( Think that wind really killed the fishing today.

Gary :)

A good turn out Gary, but I can't see your name on the leaderboard. Well done to Gav and everyone who tried today in a difficult wind.
