Aye Reg, I took a few snaps on his phone, will put up a pic once he's e-mailed them to me. I was just in the wrong place...frustrating as hell but them's the breaks sometimes! Fell over again wading off the sandbar (tripped on a boulder underwater) - that's twice in two comps but at least this time no damage (other than a bent reel handle) unlike last sunday when I crushed my hand and was unable to fish (or do much else!) all this week when that sea was on :(

Gary :)

sorry to here about your miss haps, must be an age thing, lol.just take it slower next comp, youll get there in 1 piece.anyway looking forward to seeing micks photos.cheers.

Excellent results there Gary and a cracking fish for MC.
Very unlucky yourself having fallen over in the surf. One of these days you might be like me. Sitting on your tackle box waiting for the tide to come in so you can fish in front of the sandbar and thinking "When I were t'lad I would have been wading out onto that sandbar for a bag of fish instead of sitting here on my tackle box waiting for the tide to come in .... Sigh!" ;O)

Tis true Doc - I wouldn't care, but had been talking with one of the Tynemouth lads, who was just out pleasuring after an awful previous night, shortly before we finished about people falling over...he was coming off behind me and whereas I just sort of stumbled and half fell in, he'd apparently done a nose-dive and gone right under! Didn't realise this till back at the car park, but that's Sod's Law I suppose.

Gary :)
