Whitley Bay AS winter league 10/11/13

12 members fished HW in a slight N swell but results were a bit poor with only 4 weighing in:

1st - David Airey, 7 fish - 7lb 9oz (Blyth)
2nd - Paul Brown, 4 fish - 6lb 9oz (Castle Rocks)
3rd - David Craig, 5 fish - 6lb 8oz (Blyth)
4th - Colin Bell, 4 fish - 6lb 0oz (Blyth)
Heaviest fish - Colin Bell, codling 2lb 7oz

Well done to those who found a few fish, no one else managed to pick up an odd fish anywhere - seems to be that you found a few or none at all

Are you fighting-fit again Davy? I decided to give the beach a miss after getting all sanded up over the last few weeks & try the rock edges but was only rewarded with rocklings

not realy but should be o/k sunday, hate them rocklings, move when I get one,how do they get a big crab bait on 5/0 hook in there tiny mouths. davy.
