went down whitley lastnight for the low tide fished 1 hour down 2 up, blanked for the first 2 and a half hours then tried a realy short chuck of about 20 yards and resulted in a nice flatty, tried that again for my last cast and ended up with a rocklin, just shows how close in they can be, and it put an end to my 3 session blank!

Found that out on the Police compos-Sometimes it pays not to launch your bait- a lob behind the breakers produces fish-great when scratching.
