Aye last minute decision, afternoon session fishing flood tide , two rods one single hook flowing trace other rod 2 hook flapper baited with mussel on one and double squid on other .

Paddled out half mile after negotiating a bit surf on launching and sponging out lol , dropped anchor in 40ft.






Fish on the single hook lugworm baited trace before wetting other trace. :)

Nice one Dave. It's amazing that they are so close in - the shore fishing has been terrible for a few months now even when there has been a sea on. You would think them fish would move onto the beach when the sea's away but they haven't.

I might get out and join you soon - I'm back to work now after my little bit time off...just need it to warm up a bit and I'll be out.

well done mate, every time i see pics like that it makes me want to buy a kayak, ive told the FPO (fishing permission officer) that i fancy getting one and she said i think this fishing lark is getting out of hand, diamonds should sort that problem haha
 
Canny catch, i am hoping for break in the weather Friday, Sat or Sun for half day wrecking, half day ground and praying the winds are more kind this year than last.
