Numbers were down today with a fair few lads fishing the Rutherford's two day open on the Tyne, and another match being fished up at Fife, but we still managed to get 13 anglers out, fishing mostly around Beadnell with one or two opting to travel to Seahouses or Newton.
Five managed to weigh in on a fairly nice day, (punctuated with one or two sharp showers) as follows:
1 - Gary Wilson, 3 codling for 9lb 8oz
2 - Ian Hall, 1 codling 1 wrasse for 7lb 2oz, including Heaviest Fish wrasse 4lb 7oz
3 - George Hornsby, 1 codling 1 coaley for 4lb 2oz
4 - Garry Appleton, 1 codling for 2lb 15oz
5 - Chris Potts, 1 codling for 2lb 10oz
Well done everybody, should be a few more out for the next one at Newton next month.

By the way, hope Chris Hossack got his hand sorted ok after stabbing it with his tripod and having to wrap in early!
