10 anglers turned out to fish the final open summer match today, 6 returning to the scales with fish as follows:

1st - Steve Williams - 3 fish, 11lb 13oz
2nd - Chris Potts - 4 fish, 7lb 14oz
3rd - Ian Hall - 4 fish, 5lb 8oz
4th - Geoff King - 4 fish, 5lb 3oz
5th - Gary Wilson - 1 fish, 4lb 13oz
6th - Kenny Bowen - 1 fish, 15oz

Heaviest fish of the day, and also over the five matches, went to Steve Williams with a proper fish of 9lb 9oz:

Today's result made it quite a close fight for 1st & 2nd and 3rd & 4th, but Geoff King held onto first place, with the final league totals as follows:

Well done to everybody & thanks for turning out - we've had pretty nigh on perfect conditions for most matches this year (unlike last year!) but on the whole the fishing hasn't been exactly great this summer; some places seem to have stubbornly refused to give up any fish.
