Daz, BOTAC are having a high water match on Monday 7-10.30. I'll be fishing a beach somewhere (probably Blyth). I'll be at the clubhouse for around 6.15, your more than welcome to tag along and blank with me!

Whitley beach fished really well last week. The half moon rocks was a good shot (south end of beach). I don't know how this fishes during daylight. I would have said have a shot on Whitley pipe through the day at low water, but I doubt you will get on as it's a small tide. You could try the prom at St Marys at high water and go onto the island itself when the causeway shows. Good luck whatever though Daz

think il be needing all the luck i can get cos i aint got a clue about any of the marks up there lol just hope these fresh blacks do there job for me lol goe a bit of squid razor and mussel too

Fish into the gully called West Bay, to the north west of StMary’s casting west. This is a low water mark and the flooding tide cuts it off before the main rocks are covered so watch your retreat. I prefer to fish it on the dropping tide anyway. It’s best to fish it when the sea is rough, the rocks are sheltered.
If the sea is calm, the island mark north of the toilets can fish well as soon as you can get across the causeway. At high, calmish water, wander north under the cliffs for a few hundred yards until you reach flat rocks called the Bibles which is also worth a try.
Good luck

well its a toss up between whitley and st marys but im edging closer to st marys to be honest chaps but will certainly report back and let you all know how i got any where ever i choose to fish and thanks very much for all the info :)....daz
