Whitley Beach 27/10

Fished from 630pm - 930pm. Beach fairly crowded with lights all along the beach.
First hour 2 codling around 2lb then nothing, young lad next to me from Tynemouth Club caught 3 codling around 2lb again in first hour. Bait used by me Lug/razor, other guy used crab. all in all a good start to season until reel broke, but a good night and also got a few good tips off the young lad.
