Whitley Beach

Was down on Whitley beach (Sunday11:30 am) checking out the conditions. I thought I might have a chuck at the next low tide. I was very glad I had put my floatation jacket on because the wind was extremly bitter (NNW, Force 5 or 6 ( 24 - 31 mph)); The wind had brought with it a sharp mix of hail and snow. I had to take this picture over my shoulder as the hail was stinging my face when I turned towards the wind.

It wasn\'t till I got home and downloaded the images to my PC that I noticed that there was something in the water!

Two \'Panama Dippers\' going for a plodge! - I think I will just have a hot bath

I must admit my enthusiasm for going out tonight is also shrivelling.
If I thought I had a half a chance of catching something I wouldn\'t hesitate, but the catch reports are very thin on the ground!
