Hi any info on where to fish on Whitley bay beach both high and low water

High water:
If there is a big sea, try the start of the prom at the north end of the beach that leads around to StMary’sThe beach at the Boat Station there will also fish in big seas at high water but is likely to be weeded. In flatter conditions try the prom opposite the Rex hotel at the south end of the beach.

Low water can fish anywhere. As a rule of thumb, the rougher the sea the further north up the beach you’ll need to fish. There is a good set of skeers opposite the Rendezvous café. Further up the beach, the North skeer will fish from low tide up well on the way to high water.

Best on Northerly's Small to Medium tides over low water (2.5 hrs to bottom first of the flood) prob best as a lot of marks can empty on bigger tides, if you park at the Rendezvous café you have most marks with in a short walking distance. Tight Lines

If I fish I front of the rendezvous cafe 2hrs before low water will I be fishing from the beach or off the rocks

There’s rocks straight down from the café and you will be fishing from them onto rough ground. You'll be casting onto mixed rough ground from most parts of the beach at low water.

Try the north edge of the rocks just a little way along the beach from the café. A short cast will put a bait into a nice hole where the little bay is before the North Skeer. There is a reef further out from the Rendezvous skeer and up towards the North skeer that shallows out a lot on a big tide, so the current smaller tides should help you.
If you’re not catching, try moving south towards the Panama, where the skate park is. There’s some blocky sandstone rocks that are worth a short cast. Again it shallows further out here too but leaves another good hole close in.

Both marks and the North skeer fish well even when the tide has flooded a long way up the beach.

thats were i got my 1st and only double from 5 years back ,a small cast off 60 yards in the hole ,,,
