fished whitley pipe yesterday got on as soon as possible, first chuck i caught a plaice went back as it was lightly hooked, whilst one rod was on the bottom i set up another rod with a float and put it just over the edge literaly under my feet and had an alright pollock of about 35cm, again the rod fishing the bottom went which resulted in another plaice about the same size as the first one (just size). the tide was coming in and there was something giving better bites but i couldnt connect with it, just as it was really time to go because the water was nearly on the pipe i managed to get it, a codling of about a pound, all went back and bait used was rag.
