Whitley Pipe

Well went down to the pipe this morning after having a fair bit of bait left over from yesterdays comp,firstly quickly went down the ice factory lost abit of gear there and for my sins only managed a nice coalie.so then went of to fish the pipe,canny swell running over even at low water so just played it safe and fished the bend still big breakers coming over there even,on my first chuck got a nice codling just over the 2 lb mark so was hoping there would have been more as i was getting loads of knocks but as soon as the tide turned it was too dangerous to fish there any longer but its looking good for the week if the swell dies down abit but I think they are forecasting bigger swells ?
