So want to fish the pipe tonight but cant make it hope someone does and reports back as got a feeling there will be fish off the rocks in this area tonight :-( hopefully Thursday night

I was wanting to fish there last night but someone had dumped their pots all around it Don't know how long they'll be there......

Of all the places are they half way along in the little bay bit, did you fish any of the rocks around there, if so any luck ??

No mate, just saw all the dans & went to Blyth Beach instead (thought they were nets at first but found out they were pots) - you might be ok fishing the skeers and along by the old pipe end. I was wanting to fish off the end but wasn't going to chuck in amongst all the ropes etc! Don't know how long they'll be there for, but it's a common problem this time of year - nets & pots when the sea's flat....

Alright Gary,

Did you get much on blyth beach, I fished the skeers at hauxley got quite a few knocks but could'nt set the hook, The fish seemed to be taking the bait in then just spitting it back out.
Tried cresswell carrs today and got nothing.

Only got 7 whiting and a dab for a total of 4 & 3/4lb or so, not very productive I'm afraid & the better sized whiting never turned up - also had quite a lot undersize.

I fished there last night from 6.30 - 12, we started at crawleys, my mate had one around 1.5lb, moved to the pipe, tried at distance and plopping, never got stuck on any dans, nets or lines, could not see any. Had 2 or 3 knocks, used all the usual pig hunting baits, never got anything, waste of good crab, worms and squid.
